major wars fought by U.S.
US personnel fought in all three Gulf Wars. Which one concerns the question?
The US has fought several wars.
Only when men are drafted are they citizen soldiers. Today's professional standing Army are not draftees. Fighting massive wars that requires draftees gave us the "history" of citizen soldiers; US Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korean, Vietnam Wars were all fought by draftees (conscripts).
The three wars were fought over 120 years, with large variations in numbers and allies and mercenaries on both side. We have no record of the total.
US soldiers fought for our freedom!
No their are some cases in witch they was yes as in all wars ever fought
The Seminole Indians and the US.
The Vietnam War
WWII and WWI
If you mean the northern states, they fought in the Civil War. Other than that one time, the US has always been united. Any wars which involved the north, involved the entire US. The US has, of course, fought in two world wars and many other wars.
