In many biographies, and within her letters to John Adams, she has mentioned a love for corn bread. Her many slaves during that time made corn bread for Adams and her friends. This is why black people are so good at making corn bread. Also, Abigail has been rumored to have created Italian sausage, but that is also just a rumor.
