Francis Marion was a part of the Guerrillas tactics who hated theBritish. They helped out the Americans. He was nicknamed the Swamp Fox because he would harass the British then Fade away into the swamps and forests just like a fox. I know all of this because i am studying for a test on the American Revolution and he was part of it because he was helping out the Americans against the British. The Guerrillas are soldiers who operate on their own and are not part of a regular army.
