Anne Frank's life and death weren't exactly unique in comparison to millions of other persecuted Jews during the Holocaust, but Anne kept a diary, a written historical record of the times. From Anne Frank's life we are able to take a peek into the life of a Jew during this tumultous period in history. Other diaries and written materials such as letters were kept during this time, but Anne Frank was one of the ones who wrote from a child's point of view.
