Well it depends since Apollo had 2 huge punishments, both involved being in the servitude of a human king. One of his misdeeds was rebelling against Zeus with Hera and all of the other gods and goddesses, with the exception of Hestia. The other misdeed he had done was when he murdered the Cyclopes that built Zeus' thunderbolt since he didn't dare defy him directly. This was because Zeus had killed one of Apollo's sons, Asclepius. The reason for his death was due to Asclepius' talent of healing. He was so talented, he could bring the dead back to life, which involved Hades' domain. Hades complained about this and Zeus agreed with Hades, thus killing Asclepius with a thunderbolt.
