Athena's main weapon was her intellect and her knowledge in combat, she is usually Zeus's strategist when it came to war. Besides that she carries the Aegis, a shield that Zeus also used, the shield represents the face of Medusa, foes that look upon it are usually either stricken with fear or driven back by it. She also favored a spear to go with her shield as she fought, and when she did fight she was as deadly as Ares. I hoped this helped.
