his flag was a skull with 2 bones
Captain Kidd.
It was a skull and crossbones.
Because pirates are cool :^)
Captain Kidd's flag featured a white background with a figure of a skeleton holding a spear in one hand and an hourglass in the other. There are various interpretations of the flag's symbolism, with some suggesting it represents death and time running out for those who cross the pirate. It is a menacing and intimidating symbol meant to strike fear into the hearts of those who encountered Captain Kidd and his crew.
"Yes Blackbeard was Scottish...GET A LIFE" Captain Kidd was Scottish. Not Blackbeard. He was born in Bristol, England.
Yes..I think that he was because it was told that when he was captured, Captain Kidd's tarred remains was hung in an iron gibbet and left to rot at Tilbury near London as a grim warning to pirates everywhere. Captain Kidd buried his treasure. Part of his treasure was buried on Gardiner's Island, in Long Island Sound. I don't know what Captain Kidd's flag looked like but Blackbeard's fag was a skeleton holding an hourglass. Arabella Drummond's flag was a form of the Jolly Roger with twin cutlasses and a skull wearing a large earing. Henry Every's flag was a skull with a small earing with twin bones under it. Stede Bonnet's flag was a skull with a bone under it witha heart on the right. Bartholomew Roberts's flag was a man and a skeleton holding a glass together and the skeleton was holding a spear. Edward Low's flag was basically a red skeleton standing up. Edward Egland's flag looked like a normal skeleton skull with twin bones under it. Arabella Drummond, Blackbeard Henry Every, Stede Bonnet, Bartholomew Roberts, Edward Low, and Edward England were the most infamous pirates of all. Sorry I went off topic, but I needed to get that all out. Anways, Captain Kidd was a real pirate.
Yes, there were a few notable Scottish pirates in history. One example is William Kidd, also known as Captain Kidd, who was active in the late 17th century. Another is John Gow, who was known as Captain John Gow and operated as a pirate in the early 18th century. Both pirates gained notoriety for their acts of piracy and were eventually captured and executed.
