She didn't go to college. After her father died when she was 10 she was sent to school in England. In the early 1900's very few women were able to go to college because the colleges wouldn't admit them. The Roosevelt's were a wealthy family and she never had to worry about working. In 1905 she married FDR, a distant cousin, and they had 6 children.
