According to C.K. Lendt, who was part of the KISS management team from 1976 to the late 80's and author of the book "KISS and Sell: The Making of a SuperGroup", Eric was only paid around $100,000 yearly. He would get songwriting royalties on any song he wrote. KISS through the 80's BARELY broke even in all areas and were very close to flat broke for most of the 80's and early 90's. Eric was not a "full" memeber of KISS. He was a "paid musician" just like all the other members who joined the band. Vinnie Vincent, Mark St. John, Brucke Kulick and Eric Singer. KISS, in the LEGAL world consists of Gene and Paul. Peter and Ace HAD existing interests in KISS after their departure but were bought out. Its really SAD that Eric Carr realistically never even came close to being a millionare or even RICH for that matter. He played in KISS for 12 years, and if he saved EVERY DIME he made, he would have had $1,200,000 total. Im thinking he probably spent money on things like food, heat, a place to live, toilet paper....you know STUPID ROCK STAR STUFF.
Peter Criss, former drummer.
Eric Singer
Longtime KISS member Paul Stanley [guitar] usually sings lead. At times Gene Simmons [bass] sings and long ago Peter Criss, a former drummer, did some limited singing.
KISS started in New York

I can't say for sure. I think the brand was Ludwig. I don't believe the info is posted on the Internet. But for sure, I know Eric used Ludwig during KISS.
Eric Singer is famous for being the drummer in the rock band KISS. Eric Doyle Mensinger, also known as "The Catman" was born on May 12, 1958 in Ohio and has been an active drummer since 1984.
Carr Jam 81' was actually released in 91, the year Eric Carr, the 2nd drummer for KISS, died. It was a previously unreleased song and they released it for Eric. Eric wrote the song with former KISS guitarists Ace Frehley, who would later make the song "Breakout" on one of his solo ablums.
