G.W (George Washington) played an extraordinary role in the American Revolution. That role was being general and leader of American troops to fight for our freedoms (which we still use today) from the British who was abusing their freedoms and powers.
G.W first was a British solider in the Seven Years (French and Indian) War. With that experience, G.W knew how the British fought and won battles and was able to make careful battle plans (with allies such as the French, Prussian's and Dutch).
George Washington was one of the signers of the famous document. He was one of the delegates from the colony of Virginia.
