Jesse decides to draw an imaginary kingdom called Terabithia, where he and Leslie can reign as king and queen. He envisions a magical world filled with fantastical creatures and adventurous quests. This idea becomes an escape for him during mundane moments at school.
Three rising actions in "Bridge to Terabithia" are Jess and Leslie's friendship deepening as they create and explore Terabithia together, Janice Avery's bullying behavior towards Leslie, and the challenges Jess faces in trying to improve his running speed to win the race.

Jess goes with Miss Edmunds to a museum and doesn't invite Leslie because of his crush for hi music teacher cause Leslie to go to Terabithia by herself when the rope breaks and Jess feels guilty learning that she had passed while he was away.
In the first three chapters of "Bridge to Terabithia," Jess is portrayed as a creative and artistic boy who is struggling to find his place in the world. He is also shown to be lonely and isolated, seeking companionship and understanding from others. Overall, Jess is depicted as a sensitive and curious individual who longs for connection and escapism.
We don't know if there really is going to be a second movie or not. People have had theories that there WOULD be a second movie, but idk for sure, none of us do. That'd be REALLY REALLY REALLY good if there was a second, though. :/
When Jess first met Leslie Burke in "Bridge to Terabithia," he acted shy and slightly defensive. However, he was also intrigued by her confident and imaginative demeanor.
