Mary Prince was famous because she helped to release the slaves from slavery along with two other men. She thought that it was wrong for slave treated bad and she wanted to stand up for herself also being a slave. She also wrote a book to show people how she felt about slavery and her past experiences about how she was treated and what they had to do as a slave.
