What was Pachelbel's most famous piece of organ music?
Benjamin Britten's most famous work is probably The Young Person's Guide to The Orchestra. It was composed in 1946 and is based on a piece of music from Abdelazar by Purcell. The music plays while a narrator introduces each instrument in turn. Because of this it is a popular piece of music for educational purposes. Other famous works by Britten include the opera Peter Grimes and The War Requiem.
