It depends on if it has a letter above it or not. If their is not a letter it can be worth $1100. If their is a s it is from San Fransisco and can be worth at least $4000. If it has a d it is a 1927-d double eagles which are so rare you should have it examined by a certified appraiser to determine if it is counterfeit. Good luck..
Check that series number again. The US did not print any $1 silver certificates (or any other $1 bill) with a 1927 date.
