The name "solar" says it all - "solar" means SUN. IT has ALWAYS been recognized that the SUN is the center of the "solar system".
Perhaps you meant to ask a different question - like "what was the belief BEFORE the recognition of the heliocentric (solar system) model?" - in which case the answer would be that the EARTH - particularly the Vatican in Rome was believed to be the center of the Universe.
Copernicus was a priest but also a scientist. In 1543 he produced an alternative model for the way the planets move among the stars, a model which had the Sun at the centre instead of the Earth.
Copernicus realised that this would give a model that was geometrically simpler, because the planets could travel round in orbits that were nearly circular, instead of as they did in Ptolemy's model, which was to swoop round on epicycles with their centres going round circles.
Copernicus's model still used epicycles but they were much smaller and the planets' orbits were nearly circular, although it was known even then that they are not exactly circular.
Both models represented the planets' positions in the sky fairly accurately and could be used to make predictions of where the planets would be next March, for example.
It was not possible to decide which model was right until the discovery of the law of gravity and the laws of motion, which happened around 1700.
The view at the time was that the earth was the center of everything.
The Sun is at the center of the solar system
He realized the planets have moons and phases on those moons, if the earth was at the center that couldn't happen.
The Heliocentric picture of the solar system is a model because it was given as a theory by Copernicus to describe the solar system. In prior centuries people believed that the earth was the center of the solar system.
The Sun is at the center of the Solar System. the SUN is the centre of our solar system.
The center of the solar system is the Sun.
The center of mass of the solar system is inside the sun, not too far from its geometric center.
The solar system is believed to have formed about 5 billion years ago, and by the way, why do you call it YOUR solar system? Do you come from a different solar system? Because if not, then it's OUR solar system.
the sun is the center of the solar system.
Brahe believed in the heilocentric model. Which the sun is in the center of the solar system.
Never! People only believed that.

Nicolas Copernicus believed that the sun was the center of the solar system. Before that most believed that the Earth was the center of the universe.
It was believed to be the Earth was the point of all revolution, like snobby people
There is no such thing as a sun of the center.
I believe the first person to position the sun at the center of our solar system was Copernicus during the Renaissance, Years before this many astronomers believed that the Earth was the center of the Universe.
At the time, the Solar System was believed to be fake. People believed only Earth was real.
