Mount Fuji hasn't erupted in about 300 years. Records from that time won't say much about relief efforts and there was probably no foreign help.

the importance of mt. Fuji is that it is the highest mountain and that we don't want it to explode off because that it the highest that we every gotten to and that we don't want to have to wait for years to regrow again because it took years for that mountain to grow that high.
