people rebuilt the city to withstand more shaking but im doing this as a project so any deccent info would be great! :)
plantation of trees must be done to reduce the impact.
more houses which were built to resist the earthquake
see catalytic converter.
They could build sturdier buildings.
eat organic. end of story haddadj
Many have done so in the past, many will in the future. Any large earthquake in the Pacific will probably generate one that reaches San Francisco. However obviously none since the city was established has produced large enough waves to do damage, because the further away the earthquake the more the wave attenuates. The 1964 Anchorage, AK earthquake produced waves at San Francisco 2 to 3 feet tall. The 2011 Japanese earthquake produced waves at San Francisco under a foot tall. If you wanted a numerical answer, that is likely impossible to give as it depends on too many unknown variables.
The damage done by an earthquake is typically measured using the Richter scale, moment magnitude scale, or the Modified Mercalli Intensity scale. These scales take into account factors such as the energy released, amount of ground shaking, and the impact on structures and people.
you are done!
There was an earthquake...
Damage done
If we can reduce and slow global warming, then that will mitigate its impact on penguins, as well as on every other living thing on the planet. We can reduce global warming by:Changing from fossil fuel energy to renewable energyPlanting billions of trees.Until this happens we can all: Seriously reduce our use of electricity and petroleum.
The surface that is right above the epicenter of the earthquake,or the place that is right above where the earthquake starts.
