Hades was the god of the Tartarus, or, Underworld in Greek Mythology. He ruled in a colossal palace made of black rock and sat on a throne. His role was to never let any mortal (living) enter the Underworld, but, he does not let any spirit to leave. In many myths, it states that Hades had kidnapped the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. She unhappily 'ruled' by Hades' side, but she was loyal to him.
