After 1763, the British imposed unfair taxes on the colonists. They colonists began to feel that they were being exploited by Britain.
Well two advantages for the colonists were they had lots of militia but the weakness is that they did not have enough wealth and they were poor at the same time, they did not all have guns aswell.
