I've heard vinegar, water scrubbed with newspaper works, but I've never actually tried it. My husband's mother swore by it. Ammonia and water works great too. Put the ammonia in a spray bottle and spray it on your windows and clean with newspaper. The newspaper will leave no film or streaks on your windows, but the newspaper ink will turn your hands black.
It helps run windows media player and is needed for windows media player to work so you shouldn't delete it or media player probably won't work (I haven't tried it out) but I recommend you don't none the less.
