Cold, damp, and muddy. Lound with the constant barrage of gunfire, Soldiers suffered fromTrench Foot, where there skin effectively rotted off. There was disease, famine (lack of supplies) and death all around. Always threat of a gas attack. Constant sound of gunfire and smell of rotting bodies irretrievable as the lie in no man's land. Pretty much it sucked, The Weapons were more advanced then techniques to stalemates and trench war fare were the result
