The last song John Lennon worked on of his own was "Grow Old With Me", based on a poem by Robert Browning. (The demo version was included as a track on Milk And Honey; an overdubbed version with orchestration by George Martin appeared on Wonsaponatime.) The last recording Lennon worked on was Yoko Ono's "Walking On Thin Ice"; he was carrying a tape of it when he was shot.
