society viewed men as cowards and shamed them if they didnt go to war. Usually, they will be forced or drafted into the war and didnt really have a choice.

Life in the war would very tough and hard for a women, as they took over the men's job, who all fought in the war. The men had no choice but fight in the war with the others. If they did or did not know how to fight, they still had to go. Leaving their families and homes. It would be dreadful especially being at the front line.
