∙ 9y agoIn 1066 life was hard and somewhat cruel. Firstly, England's beloved king Edward the Confessor died with no children and 3 very different men wanting the throne. However, only one lived in England so he got there first. This caused an outrage between the 3 warriors which ended up with 2 battles; The Battle of Stamford Bridge and The Battle of Hastings. Both of these battles tore England apart and the last battle made the country a very different place...
