I assume you are referring to Elizabeth I or Elizabeth Tudor- who died in l603. As far as I am aware, William Shakespeare was not on the scene though he was very much alive at the time and almost certainly a royal (Ghost Writer) of speeches, etc. Teh Principal Mourner was Lady Kathryn Knollys, who was the principal Lady-In-Waiting at the scene of her death. Queen Elizabeth had no living relatives at her funeral cortege.
Queen belived in nothing
They were protestants because Queen Elizabeth I was a protestant.
The Queen was no more elected then than she is now, and the Elizabethans knew it.
The Queen's Funeral - 1901 was released on: USA: 6 April 1901

Yes, she attended Churchill's funeral. Although procedure stated that monarchs did not attend the funeral of a statesman, prime ministers etc. She was the first monarch to do this. That is the reason why Queen Victoria did not attend the funeral of Benjamin Disraeli even though they were good friends.

At her father's funeral
The Elizabethans were unaware of the potato, which was native to the Americas. Introduced to Europe only after the Age of Exploration, this staple food became significant in diets worldwide but was unknown during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. Other foods, such as tomatoes and corn, also remained unfamiliar to them until later.
The Elizabethans thought that ghosts were demons trying to get through to the real world.
Actually, if Elizabethans took drugs at all, they would be from their doctors.
