My favorite act of bravery was the swinging gate, done by Joshua Chamberlain. He and his regiment charges a confederate army on Little Round Top. With no ammo they flank the rebels and charge, without knowing Chamberlains regiment had no ammo, the rebels surrendered. Joshua lived through that and he was the leading unit.
