racial segregation was a way of life back in the 1880-1900. the white people didn't want to have the same rights as black people.
Segregate means to keep separate. So racial segregration is a philosophy or policy that keeps people of different races separate from each other.
As late as the 1950's, some places in southern US had separate facilities for blacks(negroes) and whites. They did not share the same resturants, hotels, churches and many other things.
A racist person who fervently supports segregation
It was not good for anybody. It was a racist law.
A racist person who fervently supports segregation
It showed the racist attitudes did emotional damage AP3X ;)
First off, those are two words. Racial segregation is separating one race from another in a racist way.
It obviously wasn't fair enough to the negroes. Because segregation was not an arrrangement aggreed to by both parties , it was forced on black people to their great detriment. It was openly racist and oppressive.
Its never really ended. Even jesis is racist as all thing
it was used in Atlanta during the time of segregation. It was to show that Atlanta wasn't that racist to blacks during this time.

The end didn't lead to segregation, the racism of Southerners did. The North winning the war did nothing to change Southerners views on Blacks. So they formed the KKK, terrorized anyone trying to help Blacks, and did all they could to keep Blacks at the bottom of Southern society and unequal. Segregation was simply a logical end to these racist beliefs.
This is a reference to Atlanta during the time of segregation. I'm guessing it's to show that Atlanta wasn't that racist to blacks during this time.
No, or at least, it isn't supposed to be. Technically, racial discrimination of all kinds stopped after the civil war, but segregation continued onwards for quite a long time afterwards. I'm sure that people in the south even now are racist, but then again, so are people all over the world.
