PROPHET Muhammad was referred to as Muhammad Ibn Abdullah. Abdullah was the name of his father who died before he was born.
IN accordance with Arab custom Muhammad has been called Abu Qasim, ( father of Qasim)
after a son he had but who died in infancy.
HE was also called Abu Ibrahim after another son who too died in infancy.

∙ 14y agoProphet Muhammed... Well if you want his full name, it's too long, it contains names such as Ahmed, Mustafa, and many more, but before he was a prophet, his name was Muhammed, and after he found out, it was still Muhammed. [PBUH].

∙ 12y agoThe Prophet's lineage is clearly documented in books of history; every one of his fathers is known all the way back until `Adnan. And even though the historians disagree about the names of `Adnan's forefathers, they agree that `Adnan - and by extension the Prophet (peace be upon Him) - was a direct descendant of the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).
Keeping in mind that the word "ibn" means "son of". Here then the full name of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him).
