Catholics do not believe in reincarnation (i.e., that after death you are reborn as another person or animal). Catholics believe in resurrection (i.e., that after death your physical body returns to life).

Metempsychosis or the theory of transmigration of human souls from one body to another, although common in Eastern religions has never been a teaching of Catholicism. This is dealt with briefly in paragraph 1013 of the Catechism of the Catholic Churchwhich states that death is the end of man's earthly pilgrimage, of the time of grace and mercy which God offers him so as to work out his earthly life in keeping with the divine plane, and to decide his ultimate destiny. When "the single course of our earthly life" is completed, (Lumen Gentium 48, section 3.) we shall not return to other earthly lives: "It is appointed for men to die once." (Hebrews 9:27) There is no "reincarnation" after death.
