the Chinese Caste System can only be described as racist. if your slanted eyes where not small enough you where paid less even if your worked harder. though there was a very few (like 5 in the whole country) amount of 大陰莖 or 大阴茎 (litteraly means large penis) that where highly discriminated and frowned apon. they where quickly stoned and all recorde of them were burned.

The Chinese caste system was based on basic Confucius views. The following list represents the caste system from greatest to lowest

1) scholars

2) farmers

3) artisans

4) merchants

Scholars are on top because they are considered to be of great value, because they are always learning and expanding the wealth of knowledge that belongs to the empire.

farmers are second because they are the main providers of food in china.

Artisans provide us with their baskets,pots,and cloth which helped in the daily chores

Merchants were considered to be on the bottom because they were seen as people who were out for profit and did not contribute to the over all prosperity of the empire.
