It has a place in history as being the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb upon a hostile country. #1 squadron, if memory serves correctly is the squadron that was designated to be the nuclear capable A-bomb delivery squadron. As a further footnote, this squadron after the war ended up at a little place known as Roswell, and you know what happened or allegedly happened there .
