BURNSIDE WHILE THE BATTLE OF CHANCELLERSVILLE WAS INITIATED BY THE CONFEDERATE FORCE, OUTNUMBERED 3 TO 1 THEY UT MANUVERED THE UNION FORCE ROUTING THEM, CONFEDERATE GEN STONEWALL JACKSON WAS WOUNDED ON THAT BATTLE BY FRIENDLY FIRE, BUT EVENTUALLY DIED A FEW DAYS LATER, IT IS IN THAT CONFEDERATE VICTORY THAT GEN LEE DECIDED TO INVADE THE NORTH
