SALUKI
Gazelle hound
Salukis and greyhounds fall under the category of "Sighthound" meaning they were bred to hunt using their sight, rather than scent. Both breeds top out at 40-45 miles per hour. The difference is that the saluki can hold these speeds for miles, as opposed to the greyhound, who is a sprinter. THey greyhound will do 40-45 mph for a much shorter distance, because they lack the endurance. So they are equally as fast, but the saluki will run it for longer.
