A gang in seattle is killing people rapidly and Edward suspects that the murderer is a newborn vampire that is bloodthirsty and has no self-control. Actually it is a whole army of newborn vampires that have been created by Victoria. Edward then proposes to Bella and she accepts. Then Victoria tells the newborn vampires to kill Bella. So the werewolfs and the Cullens have to team up and fight them to protect Bella. Edward, Bella, Jacob and Seth Clearwater hide in a cave in the forest. Jacob hears Bella and Edward talking about the wedding so he threatens to go to battle and kill himself. Bella then has to kiss Jacob to talk some sense in to him and she comes to find out she loves him too. Then Victoria follows Edwards scent and Edward is forced to battle her and her army so he can protect Bella. He destroys her and the newborns and He and Bella are happy again and return home. Well, the nomad, Victoria comes back after being terribly upset with Laurent being killed. She wants to kill Bella because Edward killed Victoria's mate, James in Twilight. The worst of all of the problems though is that Victoria is biting people all over Seattle to change them into bloodthirsty newborns. Headlines in newspapers everywhere frighten towns with the sudden "murders". Bella is grounded for a while because Jacob told Charlie about how she had been riding a dirt bike. That's how she had gotten the concussion in New Moon. Then, Victoria makes it to Forks. Edward asks Jacob to take Bella away from the normal trail to hide her in the forest. Edward stays with Bella just in case, but Victoria and one of the newborns finds their hiding place and attacks. Edward kills both of them just in time, and he and Bella rush to the meadow where all of the other Cullens and Jake are fighting. When they get there Jake has been severely hurt, and there is only one newborn left. They have to kill her, but they had to also take Jake home. Jake heals after awhile, and a little bit later Edward asks Bella to marry him. Bella agrees though she is terrified by marriage, and Edward sends Jake an invitation to their wedding. Jake runs away in wolf form for a long time to see if he can get rid of the pain of loving Bella. Pretty much Victoria wants to kill Bella the werewolves help out Jacob is jealous of edward and Bella Jacob and Bella make-out she still chooses Edward shes really stupid

In New Moon Edward and his family leaves thinking that it would be safer for Bella. Bella basically breaks down for the next few months until she starts hanging around with Jacob Black. They become great friends and she learns that he is a werewolf. Meanwhile Victoria has been trying to plan Bella's death. She sends Laurent to kill Bella but the werewolves kill him. Bella dives off a cliff into the sea for fun and Alice sees this and thinks that Bella killed herself and doesn't see Jacob save her because she can't see werewolves because werewolves and vampires and enemies. Alice tells Rosalie that Bella is dead and Rosalie tells Edward. Edward was pretty broken up from him and Bella being apart too so he goes to the Volturi in Italy and ask them to kill him. The Volturi are like vamire royalty and vampire police and most of them have special powers. They say no so Edward was going to show himself in the sun in front of a crowd at a festival. Alice sees this so she goes and gets Bella and takes her to Italy. Thet get there just in time but the Volturi still take them to their hideout. They agree that Bella knows too much for a human son she must be turned into a vampire and the Volturi will not killl them. They will come and check in a few years to make sure she is a vampire. In the end Jacob admits that he loves Bella and he says she secretly does too but she denies it. Bella is torn between her best friend and her lover because they are enemies and neither of them trust that Bella is safe with the other. At the end Edward proposes a deal that they get married and he will turn her into a vampire. She doesn't say yes or no because she thinks she is too young to be married but she loves him so for now Carslise will change her after her graduation.
