Best Answer

Chinese characters keep the culture or heritage of China in its language. I believe this is important because as we all know that language evolves constantly. As language evolves, it tends to get more modern with new words and new variations of words in use or context. The Chinese character keeps the past with the present and the future. with the development of information technology, reading and writing Chinese characters is no longer difficult
