since crude price was close usd 10 per barrel around that time and usd /inr was around Rs 16 before the devaluation petrol prices ideally should have been less than 1/10th of today's price because raw material price was 1/10th but also exchange was 1/3rd so overall it should have been 1/30.However owing to very high taxes I think it should have hovered around 1/10th of today's-2011 prices
