The modern plastic version of toilet bowl brush was invented in 1932 by William C. Schopp of Huntington Park, California US. Later it was patented in 1933 by th Addis Brush Company. Mostly this toilet bowl brush is accompanied with toilet cleaner or bleach. Now there are also electronic toilet bowl cleaners available in the market.

I saw a previous invention show, where a man invented a car seat that performed similar to the gyro bowl. He didn't win the show and his invention was passed over. Could this bowl be his work and was his idea successful after all? With a little bit of research via the internet, I found a link of the gyro bowl inventors. It was parents Brad and Melinda Shepard that came up with the idea.
