It already happened.
Actually, it doesn't make sense to even ask this question, since it is impossible for us to determine anything about the conditions before the Big Bang... in fact, there's some disagreement about whether the phrase "before the Big Bang" has any real meaning or not. (To see the problem, consider the phrase "after eternity.")
According to the believes of physics and the big bang, we know that the big bang was both big and a bang. Since we are still receiving radiation from the big bang, So considering that factor I would say that it was big and a bang. What do you believe?
Now How Would We Know EXACTLY How Big It Is And/Or Was?! We Aren't That Clever You Know! ¬¬ Go Ask Alister... The big bang is still happening today, as the universe is still expanding. So the answer to this question depends on the timeframe. The big bang is as big as the universe is today. Before the big bang when all matter was contained in a singularity it was no bigger than a few microns across. Five minutes after the big bang the entire universe was the size of a golf ball. This might not seem big after five minutes, but to go from the size of a few microns to a golf ball is like going from New York to Pluto in 5 minutes.
The big bang happened something like 14 billion years ago. As an instant in time that is true, as a process it is still happening at every point in space as that point expands into a finite volume and drags matter and energy with it.
Big Bang theorist believe
Everything that ever happened - or at least, everything we know of - happened after the Big Bang, and was, in a way, affected by the Big Bang.
Everything. Although technically, the Big Bang is still happening.
The Big Bang.
Our concept of the "big bang" has no explanation about how or why, but our hypothesis is that there was NOTHING before the Big Bang created the universe.
the universe is expanding every second...
The distance is getting larger as the universe expands.
The Big Bang does not have height, it is still happening and every point in the universe is its center. It began somewhere between 12 billion and 18 billion years ago. The Big Bang is not an explosion expanding into something else, it has no boundary although we only see some of it because it has not been happening long enough for light from distant parts to reach us yet.
well, the big bang is really not true there couldn't be a big bang or else a whole new universe would start again.but....if there was by chance the big bang would happen then it would swallow up all the planets and every thing around it starting a new universe(we would all be dead)
The universe began rapidly expanding and cooling. This expansion was NOT an explosion because there is nothing around the universe for it to explode into. For what it is worth the Big Bang never ended, it is still happening.

Big Bang - Big Bang album - was created on 2009-08-19.
Most scientist probably believe that the Big Bang created the universe and eventually the Earth. However most also believe there was some time of intelligence that guided it, as the odds against it happening as pure chance are astronomical.
Current theory is the Big Bang
