the thirteen colonies. i don't know the date The location was the thirteen colonies. The date is March 22, 1765.
under the articles of confederation 13 british colonies formed a national government. That's not to say that there weren't other colonies in existence or being formed.. just that they were not part of the confederation.
Slave trade abolished 1807, and slavery itself 1833 - in the UK, and all the British colonies worldwide. As for when it started, there had always been feudal serfdom, which is the equivalent, though of course there wasn't a racial dimension.
Officially such a thing as the British empire never existed. It was just a term given to the various collection of areas Britain dominated. The only actual 'real' empire Britain got involved in was India, the Indian Empire being founded in 1858.The first English colonies and so the British empire as it is commonly known were founded in the late 16th/early 17th century but most of these early attempts failed. The first permanent and lasting colony was Jamestown in 1607. So that's as good a date as any....However these were just English colonies, Britain itself wasn't founded until 1707.So there's your answer there. 1707.
The 13 American colonies split from the British empire with the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration was signed on July 4, 1776.
The Patriots wanted to eat bananas but the British didn't want them to eat bananas. As a result, all colonies united and started the Banana revolt, where they robbed banana boats and ate them. By the end of the war, the only person affected was Malik Capo, who was transformed into a banana and by this date is already rotten.
Before Independence northa America were just a bunch of colonies paying taxes to their homland. Finally some guys got together and started the independance. They tried to take over Canada but the british faught back and kept Canada for themselves.====================================================================It appears that you have mixed up wars, process and timing.Canada was the first country to be created by legislation. The British Parliament passed the British North America Act (now the Constitution Act), which created Canada as a new country on July 1, 1867.Prior to that date, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the pre-Confederation Province of Canada were separate British colonies. One of the reasons for Confederation was that the British colonies in North America were becoming quite expensive for Britain to maintain. Far more money flowed from Britain to British North America than the colonies sent to Britain.Canada achieved its independence peacefully. There was no war involved.
No exact date has been recorded as to when the British Royal Navy was formed although we know it dated back to the 9th century AD, The Royal British Navy as we know it today was formed in 1660. In 1707 it progressed to the naval force of the Kingdom of Great Britain.
