There were two names for the first battle. one of them was bullrun but the other side called it something along the lines of mullasas i belive. the confedercy/south won that battle. if that is what you mean there you go. there is also another battle that might have been before that. know as the attack on Fort Sumter. the union could not defend itself because fort sumters guns pointed seaward. the confedercy won that aswell. if this was any help your welcome hoope that answers it
