Microsoft and Apple worked together on making a BASIC programming language call AppleSOFT, Microsoft created the Z40 for the Apple II the follow on of the Apple I the first ever public Computer!
Apple 1.
Both Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozniak were involved in the making of the first Apple computers.
apple
it was named apple because he was working on making a computer with another worker but that worker wanted it to be his way so Steve Jobs wanted to do a computer as well. So he thought about education an apple means education he thought so he named it apple.
The computer you are referring to is "Lisa". It was technically Apples third computer.
Steve Jobbs and Steve Wozniak
The original was the Macintosh 128, released in 1984. It had a 9inch b/w screen and, as the name states 128 kB of memory. Soon after its release the 'fat-mac' was released (Autumn 1984, Spring 1985) with a staggering 512 kB of internal memory. Upgrades where available too. A few years later the Macintosh SE was released, but that's another story altogether.
The Macintosh project started in the late 1970s with Jef Raskin, an Apple employee, who envisioned an easy-to-use, low-cost computer for the average consumer. He wanted to name the computer after his favorite type of apple, the McIntosh, but the name had to be changed for legal reasons.
1986
The Macintosh computer was named after the McIntosh apple, a favourite of Jef Raskin one of the Mac's creators. The McIntosh spelling could not be used as another electronics company was using the name so Macintosh was used by Apple for their computer.
The founders, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, effectively created Apple Computer on April 1, 1976, with the release of the Apple I, and incorporated the company on January 3, 1977, in Cupertino, California. The company was previously named Apple Computer, Inc., for its first 30 years, but removed the word "Computer" on January 9, 2007. See attached link for more information on Apple.
The history of Windows dates back to September 1981, when the project named "Interface Manager" was started. It was announced in November 1983 (after the Apple Lisa, but before the Macintosh) under the name "Windows", but Windows 1.0 was not released until November 1985.
