If one thinks a Moon landing is the arrival of an intact (i.e not a crash into the Moon) unmanned spacecraft onto the Moon's surface, then the Russians were the first to do this in 1966 However, if one thinks of a Moon landing as the arrival and return of a manned spacecraft onto the Moon's surface then the people of US were the first to do this in 1969. No other nation has yet made a manned moon landing.

The first mission was the Mercury one manned spacecraft, Gemini was a two man spacecraft and Apollo was a three man mission.
Luna 9 was the first unmanned spacecraft to land on the moon on February 3, 1966. Apollo 11 was the first manned spacecraft to land on the moon on July 20, 1969 with 2 US astronauts, Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin.

We know that the US has. We don't know whether the USSR ever did. If they did, they didn't announce them. None by the USSR were ever known.
