The Glorious Revolution of 1688 was a bloodless revolution because no blood was spilled. Though Mary and William of Orange marched against James II, battle did not break out because James II fled to France with his wife and son.

It was 1688, not 1868.

The Glorious Revolution (also called the Bloodless Revolution or the English Revolution) followed the flight abroad of King James II. It established the supremacy of Parliament, and outlawed religious persecution.

It was actually in 1688. The Glorious Revolution was waged to remove James II of England from the throne and replace him with William of Orange and James' daughter Mary, William's wife. England was Protestant and a Catholic king who was also the head of the Anglican church wouldn't really work out all that well. There were only a few skirmishes, leading to the war to also go by the Bloodless Revolution.
