Specifically, Dorothy and her pet dog Toto are unable to reach the safety of underground shelter before a cyclone carries their family home, with them inside, all the way to the beautiful, enchanted, magical land of Oz. From the moment that the farmhouse settles in Oz, Dorothy is determined to make her visit as short as possible. Good friends, bad people and perilous adventures notwithstanding, Dorothy never gives up on her dream until it becomes reality, with her and Toto's safe trip back to Kansas.
