Well if you want some fairies that aren't movies there are: Lily, Foxglove, Wiz, Cricket, Poppy, Honeydrop, Sizzleberry, Strawcuff, Butter and lots more. Fairies are mostly women if you look in fairy fact books, but its elves and pixies that are men.

No one is identified as a fairy in the original 1900 book edition or the beloved 1939 film version of 'The Wizard of Oz'. But fairies are identified in other books of the Oz series. The rulers previous to the Wizard are identified as the fairy descendants of Lurline the Fairy Queen, in book 12 'The Tin Woodman of Oz'. The Scarecrow succeeds the Wizard until he's overthrown by Jinjur, in book 2 'The Land of Oz'. But Glinda the Good Witch, who subsequently is identified as a fairy in book 11 'The Lost Princess of Oz', replaces the upstart Jinjur with Ozma, the rightful fairy heir to the throne of Oz.
