There was no Queen Consort of Portugal in 1499. Isabella, Princess of Asturias [b. October 2, 1470], married King Manuel I [May 31, 1469 - December 13, 1521] in 1497. But she died in childbirth on August 28, 1498. Their son, Miguel da Paz de Trastâmara e Avis, lived for only a few years, dying on July 19, 1500. On October 30, 1500 King Manuel I married Isabella's younger sister, Maria of Aragon [June 29, 1482 - March 7, 1517].
