They wanted to kill him and appointed leaders from all of the meccan tribes to surround his house armed with weapons, ready to kill him. God blinded them for a short while, allowing him to escape. Him and Abu Bakr RA travelled to a cave called thawr, and then to quba, and finally, to Madinah(yathrib)
