No year, because U.S. coins are currently made almost entirely of copper.

Nickels are 75% copper; dimes, quarters, and halves are 92% copper; and dollars are 88% copper. The only coin that is NOT mostly copper is the cent, which is 97.5% zinc.

The last year of the 95% copper cents was 1982. Midway through 1982 the US mint replaced the 95% copper coins with copper plated zinc cents, so there are some 1982 cents that are copper, others are zinc. However, all Lincoln cents prior to 1982 are 95% copper, and all circulation Lincoln cents dated 1983 and later are copper plated zinc.

Quarters and most other silver US coins contained 10% copper; the last coins made of that alloy were dated 1964. The US has never made solid silver circulating coins. Pure silver is far too soft for use in coins, so it was always alloyed with copper for hardness.

Clad coins have copper and nickel in the middle. They were made in the US after 1964. 1964 was the last year that the US made silver-alloy currency. I don't know what uc means, but unc is short for uncirculated, which means the coin is new, never used.

What are the US copper coins?

All current US coins contain copper, as well as nickel, zinc and/or other metals.Pennies (US cents) are normally referred to as "copper" coins, because they are plated with copper on the outside. However, they have less copper than any other coin (just 2.5%) and are mostly the 97.5% zinc that is inside.Nickels (US 5 cents) are made of 75% copper and 25% nickel. The clad denominations (dimes, quarters, and half-dollars) are about 92% copper; they have a pure copper core and outer layers of cupronickel in a "sandwich".The newest US dollar coins (Sacajawea and Presidents) are brass coins containing 77% copper, with zinc, manganese, and nickel.
