I will admit I don't know much about Greek/Roman Mythology. But, I will say that the event that sticks out the most is when he kills his father and frees the gods from the fear of being eaten. I forgot Zeus Father's name, but I would argue that if Zeus never fought his father, the mythology world would either have been devoured or very bleak.
