The Minotaur! If you search it, you will find endless information out there! I can't look up anything about Theseus without something about the Minotaur popping up!

Beast are just another name for a living thing. Such as a lion could be referred to as a beast among cats. It's just a word to describe large or dangerous animals. Or if your referring to mythical beast ( such as a griffin ) than no they are not real. Rather figments of imagination used in legends and myths.
Theseus is Theseus in any language. Btw the language is Latin, not Roman.
It was Ariadne, daughter of Minos, who wanted to marry Theseus. But there were other women in Theseus' life, both before and after Ariadne.
